Just can't stop putting these out. This is my latest, and involves two murders in the childhood lead poisoning program of a major midwestern city.
Synopsis
John Lash is a childhood lead poisoning investigator for Mill City, a large upper midwestern city. One of his clients, a two year old named Dukane Bell, who has been suffering from mild lead poisoning, suddenly takes a turn for the worse. As he is trying to determine Dukane's worsening condition, Lash's boss, Dori Swenson, is killed in a car accident. A day later, Dukane Bell dies from acute lead poisoning. Lash attempts to unravel the mystery of Dukane's death, not knowing that he has the key to both the deaths, and that his knowledge of this information puts him in grave danger.
