Synopsis
John Lash is approached by Elfric Schulman, a mysterious man in a black coat, who requests that he travel to Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida to determine the status of his daughter, who has abandoned her Jewish faith and joined the New Jerusalem Church, a fundamentalist evangelist organization. He soon finds that all is not kosher with the organization, and that the head of the church has some dark secrets.
His search for the truth follows the trails of a dominatrix associated with the church leader, a disgruntled Goth and a psychopathic male model. Two murders later, Lash finds himself on the run from the churches’ security operatives and searching for a DVD that will bring down the leader of the church. Following cryptic clues left by the dead dominatrix, Lash ends up in a shoot out at Fort Desoto, a hundred-year old military installation on the tip of the St. Petersburg peninsula during a Category Four hurricane.
